Every image is 30 credits on GPT Image 2 — a new character or a frame of one you already made, same price. The struck-through 60 is the standard rate; we charge the launch price while our supplier discounts it to us, and the Generate button always shows the exact cost first.
Signing up adds 200 free credits — enough for your first 4 candidates. The frame pack needs a pack on top of that; we would rather say so here than after you have picked a character.

What a credit buys
One model on the shelf, GPT Image 2 by OpenAI, and one price for every image it makes: Standard rate 60 credits, discounted to 30 credits per image.. Your free sign-up credits run on it too.
What you get free
Creating an account adds 200 free credits to it. No card is asked for, and none is stored. They run at full quality with no watermark — the same images a paying account gets — and, unlike pack credits, they expire 30 days after you receive them.
If a generation fails, you keep the credits
AI image generation fails sometimes. These rules are how the product is built, not a goodwill gesture:
Credits are held, not spent, while it runs
Starting a generation puts a hold on the credits it costs. They are still yours until the images are delivered — a hold is not a charge.
Spent only on delivered images
The hold becomes a charge once the finished images are stored on our servers and have passed our automatic quality check. A model reporting success is not enough on its own.
A failed generation is refunded in full
If the generation fails, the hold is released and every credit goes straight back to your balance. There is no support ticket and nothing to claim.
A partial delivery is refunded in full too
If some images arrive and the rest fail, you are refunded the whole run — not the missing part, all of it. The images that did arrive stay in your account and are yours to download.
An unclear result stays on hold
If we cannot yet tell whether a generation was delivered, the credits stay held rather than charged. We go through unresolved holds once a day, so expect a day rather than minutes, and then they are either taken or given back.
Repairs are on us
When a generated image comes back with a flawed transparent background, we re-run the fix at our own cost. You are never charged for our retries.
Pricing questions
How much does one finished PNGTuber cost?
A finished character is 240 credits: 4 candidates at 30 credits each so you have something to choose from, then the 4-frame pack for the one you keep. On the $9.90 Starter pack that works out at about $2.38 a character. Your first round of candidates is covered by the 200 free credits you get for signing up, so the first thing you pay for is the frame pack.
Do my credits expire?
Pack credits never expire — a pack you bought last year still spends today. Plan credits do: each month a plan releases expires 90 days after it arrives. So do the 200 free credits given at sign-up, which expire 30 days later. When you hold a mix, the soonest to expire are always spent first.
Can I get a refund?
Three ways, and only one needs you to ask. A generation that does not deliver is refunded automatically, in full. A pack bought in the last 14 days and not spent is refunded to your card — email us. A partly spent pack is refunded for the unspent part, at the price you paid.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. A pack is a single payment with nothing to cancel, and it is the only thing you need to use everything here. Pro is optional and pays off only if you generate steadily: a lower price per character, in exchange for credits that roll for 90 days instead of never expiring.
Can I use my PNGTuber commercially, including on a monetised channel?
Yes. We do not claim ownership of what you generate: the frames are yours to use on stream, in videos, in thumbnails and on merchandise, including on a channel that earns money. No separate licence to buy, and no attribution owed.
What happens to my Pro credits if I cancel?
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not take back credits you already have, and it does not end the term you paid for — a yearly plan cancelled in month two still releases months three to twelve. Credits in your balance keep their own 90-day expiry.
How do I pay, and is my card stored?
By card, on our payment provider’s hosted checkout. Card details are entered on their page, not ours; we never see or store your card number.
What currency are the prices in?
Every price here is set in US dollars. Your card may be charged the equivalent in your own currency instead, converted by our payment provider or your bank at that day’s rate, so your statement can differ from the dollar figure here.
Do bigger packs unlock anything extra?
No. Every model is unlocked by any purchase, including the smallest, and there is no resolution, watermark or feature gate between packs. A bigger pack buys more credits, and nothing else.
Where can I see my balance?
On your credits page, once signed in: your balance, what each generation cost, and anything refunded to you.
