Terms of Service

The terms covering PNGTuberMaker accounts, credits, plans, refunds and generated images

2026/08/30

These terms cover your use of PNGTuberMaker (pngtubermaker.net). By creating an account, buying credits or taking a plan, you agree to them.

PNGTuberMaker is built and run by an independent developer, not a company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the operator of PNGTuberMaker, and "you" means the person using the service. There is no support department behind the address below — it reaches the person who wrote the thing.

What the service does

You write a prompt describing a character. We send that prompt to a third-party AI image provider, which generates the character, and we deliver the result to your account as transparent PNG frames — idle, talking, blinking and blink-talking — for use in OBS or any other streaming software.

Generation is not deterministic. The same prompt will not produce the same image twice, and no model follows every instruction. We do not promise that a particular generation will match what you had in mind. What we do promise is that you are only charged for images we actually deliver — see Refunds and cancellation.

Your account

Sign-in is with Google. We do not offer a password-based account, so keeping your Google account secure is what keeps your PNGTuberMaker account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You need an account to generate anything. You must be old enough to enter a contract and to hold a Google account where you live.

What you are buying

You are buying credits. Credits are a prepaid balance you spend on generations. There are two ways to get them: buy a pack once, or take a Pro plan that releases credits every month.

Every price on this site is set in US dollars. Your card may be charged the equivalent in your own currency instead — converted by our payment provider or by your bank, at the rate it uses that day — so the amount on your statement can differ from the dollar figure here.

Credit packs — one payment

CreditsPrice
1,000$9.90
1,800$14.90
5,000$39.90
10,000$69.90

A pack is a single payment. It does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel.

Pro plans — a subscription that renews

PlanPriceCredits
Pro, monthly$9.90 a month1,500 credits each month
Pro, yearly$99.00 a year1,800 credits each month, for twelve months

A plan renews automatically until you cancel it. The monthly plan charges your card every month, the yearly plan once a year, and each renewal buys the next term. There is no free trial period on either.

A yearly plan is billed once but does not hand you the year at once. It releases credits month by month, twelve times: the first month when the payment succeeds, then one release on the same date each month. If a renewal payment fails, the month it would have bought is not released until the payment goes through.

A plan buys exactly the same generations a pack does. The differences are the price per credit, and how long the credits last.

What a credit costs to spend

Each generation shows its exact credit cost, and your balance, before you confirm it. Different models and resolutions cost different amounts, and we can change those per-image prices — but never for a generation you have already started, and never retroactively for credits you already hold.

Credits are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not a deposit or a stored-value instrument.

When credits expire

  • Credits from a pack never expire. There is no deadline to use them.
  • Credits from a Pro plan expire 90 days after they are released. Each month's release is its own batch with its own 90-day clock, so a month you do not use is still there the next month — but plan credits do not keep indefinitely the way pack credits do. That is the trade a plan makes: a cheaper credit that does not last as long.
  • The free credits new accounts receive — 200 credits — expire 30 days after sign-up. They are a trial, not a purchase, and they are not refundable in cash under any circumstances.

When you run a generation, we always spend your soonest-to-expire credits first, so free and plan credits are used before pack credits.

Cancelling a plan

Cancel from Settings → Billing, where the button opens our payment provider's billing portal. If you cannot reach it, email us and we will cancel the plan for you.

Cancelling stops future charges. It does not take back credits you have already been given — those stay in your balance with the expiry date they already had, and a pack you bought separately is never touched by cancelling a plan.

What you give up is the months the plan had not released yet. Cancelled at the end of a period you have paid for, that is nothing: the plan keeps releasing credits until that period ends, so a yearly plan cancelled in month two still releases months three to twelve. Ended immediately instead, the unreleased months stop being owed and are not refunded automatically — so if you want the rest of a year back, ask us before you end it.

Cancelling is not a refund. For refunds, see Refunds and cancellation.

How a generation is charged

We do not take credits when you press Generate. We hold them.

  1. When a generation starts, its cost is frozen in your balance. You can see it, but you cannot spend it twice.
  2. When every image in the generation has been delivered to your account and has passed our quality checks, the hold becomes a charge.
  3. If the generation does not deliver, the hold is released and the credits are spendable again.

"The provider said it worked" is not delivery. Credits are only charged once the images are stored in your account.

Refunds and cancellation

Credits come back automatically when a generation does not deliver. You do not have to ask, and you do not have to email us.

  • If a generation fails, you are not charged. When every image in a generation fails at the provider, the full amount held for it returns to your balance.
  • If a generation only partly delivers, you are refunded in full. When some images arrive and the rest fail, you pay nothing for that generation — and the images that did arrive stay in your account and stay downloadable. We absorb the cost.
  • If we cannot tell whether a generation was billed, we do not charge you. The credits stay held, not spent. We go through unresolved holds once a day, so expect a day rather than minutes; the few we cannot settle that way we reconcile by hand.

Cash refunds on purchases. Credits are digital goods delivered to your balance immediately, so there is no automatic cash refund on a completed purchase. We will refund a purchase — a plan payment as well as a pack — to your original payment method within 14 days of it where the credits are unused, or at any time where a fault on our side stopped you from using them. Outside that, write to us anyway — we would much rather fix a problem than leave you stuck with a balance you cannot use.

How to ask for a refund. Email support@pngtubermaker.net from the address on your account, and tell us which purchase it is and what went wrong. We reply within two business days. If we agree a refund, it goes back through our payment provider to the card you paid with; how long it then takes to appear is up to your bank.

The full rules, including partly used purchases, cancelling a plan and credits that never arrived, are in the Refund Policy.

What a refund does to your balance. If we refund a purchase, we remove the credits that purchase granted, up to however many of them are still unspent. A part refund removes the matching part of them. We do not claw back credits you have already spent on images we delivered. Refunding a plan payment in full also withdraws the months that payment had not released yet.

Cancelling a plan is not a refund, and does not remove credits you already hold — see Cancelling a plan.

Cancelling your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Security. Deleting your account gives up any remaining credit balance, including purchased credits — so if you want a refund, ask for it before you delete. If a plan is running, deleting the account cancels it first; where we cannot cancel it with our payment provider, we refuse the deletion rather than delete an account whose card is still being charged.

Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank. Email support@pngtubermaker.net and give us a chance to fix it. Nearly everything people open disputes over — a generation that failed, a charge you do not recognise, credits you did not mean to buy — we can resolve directly and faster than a dispute can.

If a chargeback is opened, the credits that payment bought are removed from your balance and the account is frozen: it cannot spend credits and cannot buy more. The freeze does not lift by itself. A chargeback is the end of the account here, and reopening one is a decision we make by hand — email us and we will look at it, but treat it as closed.

Credits you bought with other, undisputed payments are not taken away. They are frozen with the rest of the account, so you cannot spend them while it stands. That is the reason to email us before going to your bank: a refund gives you your money back and leaves everything else alone, and a chargeback does not.

Your prompts

You are responsible for the prompts you submit. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to submit.

Your prompts are sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. Our Privacy Policy names who they are and what reaches them.

What you may not generate

You may not use PNGTuberMaker to create:

  • Images intended to reproduce someone else's intellectual property — copyrighted characters, VTuber models, game or anime characters, logos, or trade dress you do not own or have a licence for. Prompts naming a protected character in order to copy it are not allowed.
  • Images of a real person's likeness without that person's permission — including public figures, streamers and other creators.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a character presented as a minor. This is an absolute limit and results in immediate account closure and, where required, a report to the authorities.
  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that incites violence or hatred against a group of people.
  • Content designed to deceive — impersonating a real brand or person, or producing images intended to pass as an authentic photograph of a real event.

You also may not resell or redistribute access to the service itself, script or scrape it outside the normal interface, attempt to work around credit charging, or use it to generate a competing training dataset.

We can refuse or stop any generation that appears to breach this section. Where we stop a generation before delivery, you are not charged for it.

How this is enforced

Every generation runs on a third-party model through Kie (kie.ai), and both apply their own content filters to the request. A prompt they judge to breach those filters is refused at submission: no image is produced, and because nothing was generated, nothing is charged. Refusals also happen after submission, and those releases return your credits the same way any other failure does.

Those filters are not ours and we do not claim they catch everything. They sit alongside, not instead of, the limits above — breaching this section is a breach whether or not a filter stopped you, and we act on reports and on what we see in the account. Accounts used to generate prohibited content are closed.

If you find the service producing something in this list, email support@pngtubermaker.net. We would rather hear it from you than not hear it.

What you own

We do not claim ownership of the images you generate. As between you and us, whatever rights exist in a generated image are yours.

You may use your generated images commercially: on stream, in videos, in thumbnails, on merchandise, wherever you like. You do not owe us attribution.

Two honest limits, neither of which is us taking anything from you:

  • AI-generated images may not be copyrightable in some countries, or may be protected only in part. That is a matter of law, not of these terms, and we cannot grant you rights that the law does not recognise.
  • Generated images are not exclusive. Similar prompts can produce similar images for other people. We do not promise that anything you generate is unique.

You keep the right to the prompts you write. You give us permission to store them, send them to our AI provider to fulfil your generation, and keep them in your history so you can revisit and remix your characters.

Our side of it

The site, its interface, its name and its branding are ours. These terms do not give you any right to use them beyond using the service normally.

We may change, add to or withdraw features. We may change per-image credit prices, and what a pack or a plan costs. A change to a plan never applies to a term you have already paid for — the price you were charged and the monthly credits you were sold both hold until that term ends. A change can only reach you at a renewal, and we will tell you before it does. If we withdraw the service entirely, we will give notice and a way to download the images you have generated.

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any generation will meet a particular standard. Some things are genuinely outside our control: the AI providers we route to can be slow, can be down, and can change their models without telling us in advance.

Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly the section on what you may not generate, or where we see fraud or payment abuse. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Where an account is closed for a serious breach, remaining credits are forfeited. If that account was on a plan, we cancel the plan as part of closing it, so it stops charging you.

You can close your own account at any time from Settings → Security.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost revenue, or lost goodwill.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local consumer law gives you, and nothing in these terms overrides it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects what you have already bought — pricing you already paid, credits you already hold, a plan you are on, or the refund rules above — we will give notice before it takes effect.
